The main BIGGIE is Herefordshire Art Week open studios 6-14th Sept, my studio will be open for the week 11am - 5pm i'm exhibiting with my mate Jeanette McCulloch we called our show 'Small Things Bright and Beautiful'...my studio is very small so we have limited the size of our exhibits. The address is Flat 1 133 The Homend, Ledbury HR8 1BP. I'm afraid there are lots of stairs which excludes people with walking problems, i'm sorry about that. Just look out for the pink signs when you get near.

October 17th/18th Bejewelled Bags Taking pattern from artists such as Klimt and Hundertwasser, we will design a little bag with velvet, foils, silks and organza, enhancing the design with machine embroidery. Materials extra Course fee £85.00
October 31st Inspired by Hundertwasser Google him! Collage, tranfoils and machine embroidery on cotton velvet using Angie's unique foiling technique.

November 14th Stitched Landscapes Enjoy collaging a textiles landscapes from scraps of your favourite hand dyed fabrics then learn about all the machine embroidery stitches I can squeeze into a day and use then to decorate and enhance your lovely landscape. Pure machine embroidery pleasure.

November 28th Twinkling Needle Cases In this day workshop you will learn about transfer foil, adding twinkly bits and collaging onto a base of cotton velvet. Then you will learn a few basic machine embroidery tricks to enhance the surface and finally using felt liner how to make up into a charming little Needlecase.

November 29th Daisy Bookwrap Explore the techniques Angie describes in her book 'Stitch Cloth Paper and Paint'. Experiment with texture, using tissue, lace, scrim, gesso and machine embroidery. Apply colour using acrylics, make embellishments and wrapped cords. We will use all these methods to make a twinkling little bookwrap. Course Fee £45.00
